The Girl Behind the Lens

It all started when...

I was a preteen fiddling around with a cheap-o point and shoot. I fell in love with the art of composition and using God's natural light to create images I could keep forever. Finally - I was gifted my first "big girl" camera, and from there my possibilities became endless and I grew in my skill, knowledge and passion for Photography.

When I first picked up a camera.. I never had the idea of being a "Wedding Photographer". It took time. I met an amazing man in 2010, who I am now married to (Going on 9 years married in 2020! :) ) and we now have five beautiful kids together. It wasn't until I finally took the initial step in 2013, when I first started taking clients, that I realized it was in God's plan for me to pursue this as a career.

At first it was simply couples, engagements, second shooting at weddings & photographing any one who would let me! After my first wedding as the main photographer, it was then that I realized that is exactly where my soul is. Wedding & Engagement photography is more to me than a 'job'. Being a Wedding photographer - I am a planner, organizer, stylist, light-manipulator, brides' assistant and whatever else I can do during the process of the planning and the Wedding day to make my client's day the BEST DAY EVER.

Documenting your love story from the initial engagement to the anniversaries following your Wedding day, I become very invested in your story & vow to provide you with images you will cherish and love looking back at for years to come.

One thing you'll learn while getting to know me, is that I am all about the client experience! It's important to me that we click well and that you see me as more of a friend, than a hired vendor. :)
While you're planning your wedding, I'd love to meet up for coffee or mimosas! Let's chat details, show me photos of your dress or share ideas you have! I would love to be that go-to for any questions you may come across while putting together this fabulous, wonderfully important day.
